Simon Youth Foundation Scholarships
Simon Youth Academy Scholarship Program
- To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be currently enrolled and graduating in the Spring or Summer of 2017 from one of the Simon Youth Foundation Academies located in Simon Property Malls and/or other locations identified by SYF
OR
- Be a recent graduate of a Simon Youth Academy (Fall 2016 graduate)
AND
- Plan to enroll in an accredited two- or four-year college, university, vocational/technical or trade school full-time in Fall 2017
- Attend the Academy graduation ceremony if selected as an Academy Scholarship recipient
- Applicants will be evaluated based on academic promise, letter of recommendation, essay response, work experience and community/extracurricular involvement
- Scholarships will be awarded up to $10,000 annually and are renewable
Simon Youth Community Scholarship Program
- To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be a high school senior attending school and living near a Simon® mall property or in the surrounding communities
- Be a legal U.S. resident
- Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational/technical school in Fall 2017
- Demonstrate academic promise and financial need
- Applicants will be evaluated based on academic promise, financial need, essay response, work experience and community/extracurricular involvement
- Scholarships in the amount of $1,500, one at each Simon® property, will be awarded annually and are not renewable
Simon Youth Greg Saunders Legacy Scholarship Program
- To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be a dependent son or daughter of a full-time or part-time employee of Simon Property Group who has been employed for at least one year as of March 1, 2017
- Be 23 years old or younger
- Be a high school senior or current college student planning to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational/technical school in Fall 2017
- Applicants will be evaluated based on academic promise, financial need, letter of recommendation, essay response, work experience and community/extracurricular involvement
- Scholarships will be awarded up to $3,000 annually and recipients can re-apply on a yearly basis
